Age > 50 years
Herpes Zoster Vaccine can be given.
The following people should consult an Infectious Disease Physician to learn about their vaccination options:
a. Those with asplenia or have undergone splenectomy.
b. People who have a weakened immune system due to cancer, autoimmune disease, transplant surgery, HIV or are in a congenital immunosuppressed state.
c. People traveling abroad.
